About Us:
Michael MacFarlane, founder of Adventure Bound Outdoors, LLC is full time outfitter and guide (Colorado License #2626) as well as an avid big game and waterfowl hunter who has been hunting almost from the time he could carry a gun and has been involved in bowhunting and archery for almost as long. Born in Louisiana and raised in Texas, he now resides in Colorado where he spends every fall chasing mule deer, elk, and antelope and his winters chasing waterfowl and the rest of the year traveling the world in search of new and exciting adventures in the field.  With over 20 years of hunting experiences and working his way through college in an archery pro-shop, he knows what it takes for a hunt to be a good one.

“Having a lifetime of both good and bad experience as well as hearing horror stories from customers, it became obvious that there would be value in having someone take on the task of seeking out quality leases,  outfitters, and safari operations, and researching the reputations of outfits before sending clients.  Many of my partner outfitters are operations with whom I have personally hunted with and have well established relationships with.  I will work to provide you the best value possible for your hunting dollar, as I value your time and resources as well as my own.

Through a network of land owners, partner outfitters, conservation organizations (I am an active member of Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and a life member of Safari Club International), and business associates, I can find the RIGHT adventure for you!”
